This morning at about 7.15am I witnessed a juvenile Sparrowhawk swoop on several Starlings right in front of our living room window, it completely missed the birds and flew off.
Also I forgot to mention in the entry for yesterday; that Jan discovered what the Bats appear to be mainly feeding on because she found the dismembered legs and wings of Crane Flies all over our car, so it appears that these may be the main prey of the Bats which are hunting around the street light outside our home. The Bats were very active again last night.
Keep your eyes peeled and good spotting, whatever you're looking for.
