New Bird In The Garden - Sunday 21st September 2014

The 4 Painted Lady Butterflies were released today and flew off to freedom. They will be the last Butterflies we will raise this year.

While going through varous processes to try and get my iMac back up and running (all unsuccessfully) I  happened to glance out of the window just at the right moment; just in time to see a Chiff Chaff fly into the garden with a small flock of House Sparrows (some of the 20+ that frequent our garden every day). It landed on top of the feeders and then went into the top of a Forsythia Bush before flying on. Unfortunately I didnt get a shot of it but it will be another one to add to our Garden Log if I ever the iMac back up and running.
